Delicious Caribbean Flavors

I had a wonderful dining experience at the hotel! The food was a good mix of typical Caribbean fare, featuring excellent soups, juicy pork, tender chicken, and fresh vegetables. I especially enjoyed the fresh carvery available each evening. The buffet had a good variety and the quality was impressive for a three-star hotel.

Perfect Beach Retreat

The beach at Whala! Boca Chica was absolutely stunning! The powdery white sand and calm, shallow waters made it a perfect place to unwind. I also loved the beach massages; they were relaxing and added to my overall experience of bliss.

Fun for the Family

My experience at the hotel was quite mixed. While the beach proximity was fantastic and the staff was generally helpful, the room issues and service inconsistencies were frustrating. Dining options left much to be desired, and overall, I wouldn't recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

The rooms were older but spacious. Unfortunately, we had an issue with air conditioning and had to wait for an extended period to be relocated, but the room I ended up in had a lovely balcony overlooking the ocean.

Service was hit or miss. I encountered some very helpful staff members, especially when I needed assistance with communication. However, constant interruptions from vendors made it hard to relax.

While the location was nice, being close to the beach, the dirty rooms and poor service overshadowed any positives. My stay at the resort was quite disappointing overall. The facilities were outdated, and I encountered numerous cleanliness issues that detracted from my experience. On the positive side, I did find a couple of staff members who tried to provide decent service, and the food selection at meals was a highlight. That said, the cleanliness of dining areas was concerning and made me question my meals. I wouldn't recommend it unless improvements are made.
